Op de voorbije Game Awards ging alle aandacht, terecht trouwens, naar Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3. Op de Horror Game Awards echter was het al Alan Wake 2 wat de klok sloeg.
Alan Wake 2 won de award voor het beste verhaal, de beste soundtrack en de kers op de taart: Horror Game of the Year.
